Our panel of advisors is comprised of Singaporeans who have spread their wings abroad to internationally renowned studios in their respective CG fields. As fellow Singaporeans, they can relate to the issues that many aspiring CG artists in Singapore face in their journey towards learning and improving their skills. They share their knowledge and experience, providing information on the latest trends and innovations in their fields. This helps us to continually enhance and update our programmes to meet the changing needs of the global CG industry.


Melvin Tan

Melvin is a graduate of the Academy of Art University at San Francisco and is currently working as the Lead Animator at BlueSky Studios, the animation studio behind the blockbuster Ice Age. He has been appointed Character Lead for some characters in "Horton Hears A Who". His film credits also include "Ice Age: The Meltdown", "Robots and No Time for Nuts", a direct to DVD Scrat short film. 


Roger Lee

Roger Lee is currently a Lighting & Compositing Artist at Walt Disney Animation Studios. He had worked on some of Disney's biggest box-office hits such as "Frozen" and "Wreck-It Ralph". Before moving to the US, he held positions such as Senior Lighting Technical Director on "Rango" (2012 Oscar Award winner for Best Animated Feature) at Industrial Light & Magic, Singapore and Lead Lighting & Compositing Artist on the Emmy Award winning animated TV series - "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" at Lucasfilm Animation, Singapore. Prior to working at Lucasfilm, Singapore for more than 6 years, he was a CG Generalist at Walt Disney Television, Singapore and had worked on various award-winning TV commercials at Infinite Frameworks for almost 5 years. Roger is a Film Sound and Video alumnus from Ngee Ann Polytechnic.


Dominic Quek

Dominic Quek is currently appointed as the Senior Cinematic Artist at Blizzard Entertainment, an American computer game studio. He started his CG career in Singapore, working in post-production and games, before moving on to the Netherlands to work for Guerilla Games and subsequently, to Blizzard Entertainment in California USA.
