We have started a program to share insights of the industry and also try to guide individual build their own animation startup. This program is meant for Singaporeans and PR who are fresh grad or those working in the media industry. It is supported by MDA.
We have conducted several batches already. So far, the program has been very successful. Most of our students are founders of animation startup and those who inspired to be.
Besides the class, we have been mentoring them in terms of their business development, contractual issues and IP creations. We have also started trying to introduce small projects to some of the more matured setup. With limited capacity, we are also looking at providing temporary office facilities to help some of the exceptional ones.
With this effort, we hope we can help to build more local startups. Hence creating more opportunities for employment.
On a larger scale, we hope to form alliance by connecting these startup together. We have also planned similar activities in Indonesia, Thailand and also looking at Fukuoka Japan. With this, we hope to build a larger network and a Eco system.
