Zbrush for Designers is an innovative program targeted at artists. The main objective of the course is to introduce new ways in using Zbrush as a conceptualization and/or illustration tool. This innovative process is a highly efficient way to conceptualize in 2D and quickly build up to a 3D version, saving precious hours and transmitting your ideas accurately and precisely to the next department down the 3D production pipeline. Even as a 2D drawing tool, you can work much faster than using traditional painting programs.

Students will go through the processes of blocking, posing, lighting, rendering and finally compositing using ZBrush along to other tools such as Alchemy, Photoshop and ZBrush.

In this class, you will learn how to sculpt creature or character busts, as well as hard surface sculpting of both organic and inorganic subjects. Lastly, you will get to learn to prepare your digital sculpt for 3d printing.
