the total course fee. This
subsidised rate (SPUR) is opened to Singaporeans and PR only. For those
who are not eligible but wish to take up the course, you may do so by
paying the full fees. The commencement of each class is subjected to
sufficient number of applicants per class.

Games Modeling and Texturing
Duration : (72 hrs) Twice a week
Fees At Subsidized Rate: S$680 (Inclusive of GST)
Entry Requirements: Anyone who seeks a position as a games
modeller in a game company.
Course
Outline : To produce games artists knowledgeable in the art
and
process of creating good and efficient 3d models for use in a game
production environment.
1. Understanding the constraints and restrictions of working with a
game engine.
2. Understanding forms and silhouettes and what makes a model looks
good using the least amount of polygons.
3. Techniques for optimizing games models.
4. Modelling ultra high resolution models for generation normal maps.
5. Generating normal maps and ambient occlusion maps within 3ds max.
6. Texturing for games models.
7. Basic skinning and rigging for final games output.
